In January 2024, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) unveiled the national football team's new uniforms for the 2024–2025 season, marking a significant partnership with the Japanese sports brand Jogarbola. This collaboration, set to last from 2024 to 2027, introduces a fresh aesthetic to both the men's and women's national teams, reflecting a blend of traditional Vietnamese cultural elements and modern design.
The home jersey maintains Vietnam's iconic red hue, symbolizing the nation's resilience and passion, while the away jersey features a crisp white design with red accents. Both jerseys prominently display the golden five-pointed star from the national flag and incorporate the Lạc bird motif, a mythical creature significant in Vietnamese culture, often depicted on Đông Sơn bronze drums. This design choice emphasizes the team's deep connection to Vietnam's rich heritage.
Manufactured using advanced materials, the jerseys are crafted from high-quality Hydro-silk fabric, ensuring softness, durability, and optimal moisture-wicking capabilities. This fabric choice aims to provide players with maximum comfort and performance on the field. Additionally, the jerseys feature Jogarbola's innovative HyperDry technology, enhancing quick moisture evaporation to keep players dry during intense matches.
The design also includes patterns inspired by Vietnam's mountainous landscapes, symbolizing the nation's enduring spirit and strength. The national teams debuted these new uniforms during the 2023 Asian Cup, held from January 12 to February 10 in Qatar.
